Paul, no, I bought these here in town. I wish this was road fill; lots of dirt roads around here. I tried to get into the area where ADOT dig out their fill but big gates, nasty signs, and big chains and locks slowed me down, dang it!

Hey Ed, that sounds like a done deal. I don't know when I'm going to get down that way though but, I can definitly PM ya ahead of time to get the details figured out. I grew up down there but, I don't think I ever made it to Don Jose's. Lived at Mycayo's and Valley Luna though. Don's would be a treat; looking forward to it! What kind of rock are ya thinking about or are needing?

Ed, havent been to Los Dos Molinos. El Rancho in SnowFlake is pretty good. Since Jalapeno Poppers opened up here in town, I dont go ANY place else. That salsa is the best I've ever had. Even better than mine. I'll try and get down soon before it gets to hot and bring some rockin heart material. I'm going to a gun show in Flag next Sunday. I'll try and come on down to the valley then.

By now, you realize, you've convinced me that I live in the wrong state by virtue of the fact that you can simply "road" hound and get this cool stuff! LOL. The closest I can get to that is walking around Acton, CA for agates.
That second photo is really interesting. Looks a lot like bacon. Literally.
Of course, several of the folks on the forum have mentioned that I should probably get out of SoCal, regardless!
This is cool stuff, buddy. Thanks for slabbing and posting!

You're gonna have to stake out the area and tail those trucks to see where they dump that awesome road fill. LOL. These look like they're gonna be alot of fun! Jo
