Common name is spiderweb Jasper. Not to be confused with the other spiderweb jasper that's black and brown. This one is more of a rhyolite too and I was told is found near the Rose Eye Jasper location near Heppner, Oregon. I have a bit of it but have never hunted it myself. Got mine from the prospector at Quartzite many years ago so the location info is second hand and that's the material name he gave me so like most common names, he probably made it up.....Mel

hum i havent herd of that one i live about 30 miles from there i know there is the opal butte claim there i will ask the claim owner at our show this weekend thanks for the tip mel!
