A friend of mine from work invited me to do some knapping with him at his club's Lost Arts Festival this weekend. He asked if I could round up some of my points and artifacts to help fill the display table, and I thought I would snap some pics to share here too. The points are nothing special - just my feeble attempts in the knapping learning process. The tools pic is of some that I have found in my area while rock hunting. Hope you enjoy them.... These are all between 2"- 4" from Flint Ridge to Pet Wood and glass..... These are my tiny dart points from 3/8" up to 5/8" in agate and Flint Ridge....... Hammerstones, hand axes/choppers, and a firestick stone..... Thanks for looking!! Dave

Yes it is Ohio Flint Ridge - it's hard to come by in big quantities unless you know someone on the ridge who will sell it, but I try to get some every chance I can. That stuff is amazing to work with, and the colors are awesome. Here is a link to a guy who makes some fantastic multi-colored blades from Flint Ridge material - more like artwork I should say!!! Check out his gallery... www.roymillerflintridge.com/index.html
