Here are the results of my first batch to come out of my Lot-o tumbler. First stage was to shape in my Rotary Tumblers. Then follow the recipe John ( jack yorkshire ) sent me. Picture 1. Rock I bought in. Pictures 2 & 3. Lakers - Steve ( NORTHSHORE-ROCKS ) sent me a load of his local rocks last July. Pictures 4, 5 & 6. Some of the Agates I have found over the winter local beaches. Pictures 7 & 8. Some of the Jaspers I found local. Pictures 10 & 11. A mix of other Local rocks. Dermot.

Thanks for the good comments. Yes Randy this is my first batch out of my Lot-o. I got it shipped from US last Summer, but it took a good few months to get enough material ready to fill the 4.5lb Lot-o. I have a second batch going through the pre-polish stage just now. And a third batch in my tumblers at the moment. In these next 2 batches there is some nice Red/Yellow/Black Jaspers. I hope they take a good shine. I have to give all the credit to John (JACK YORKSHIRE ) it was him that told me how to do the process in th Lot-o and he sent me some grit. I will post the results when they are ready. Dermot.

Hi Dermot, Great to see the final results [glow=red,2,300]The credit goes to Tom (Conrock ) and his experiances and 10 years of experiments with the Lot "O" and the recepie that came out of this dedicated study[/glow]
I am always pleased to help someone here , as someone (James ) helped me many years ago, and of course not forgetting Tom, who has helped me many times over the years as well as many RTH members .
My you got a lot of Very very Nice rocks there I didnt find them When I was up 2 year ago
Its great to see this batch finally in all its gloss . I hope we will be seeing many more batches like this in the future.
Well done
