This is my first complete batch. It's an odd lot. My kid got this Discovery Kids gyroscopic tumbler for Xmas but it broke about halfway through stage two. That's where the little rocks came from. The big rocks are some Puget Sound beach stones. I bought 5lbs on Ebay and that's may a third of them. I didn't have a rotary at the time so I took the beach stones that didn't have any fissures so they didn't need a stage one and the half-done little stuff and did them in 120/200, pre-polish, and polish in the vibe. Took me a little while to figure out how to do it but they came out fine. I really should have taken more shots of a smaller areas as the one photo of everything at once doesn't do it justice. I should have taken some close ups. The little stones are my kids and he keeps them in a wooden box. The large stones I display in this jar. It should be about 3/4 full when I get the rest of the beach stones done. I have a rotary now and the ones that have some fissures can go through stage one in that.

Nice first go! Too bad that those kiddie tumblers die too quickly- really does not do a lot to get people hooked.
