This is some of the second batch from my Lot-o The first picture below shows the broken & cracked Local Jaspers. This might be the result of hitting the larger rock too hard with my hammer Local Agate & some Jaspers. More Local Agates. Some of the many Lakers Steve (Northshore-rocks) sent to me last year. There is A nice looking Mary-Ellen Jasper in there. Hope you can make it out? Hope you like them Thanks for looking. Dermot.

You have some beautiful banded agates in your area. Keep em running.

Those are some really nice local agates. I found my first broken slab in my lot-o today, after I dropped the full barrel on my concrete slab.

Hi Dermot, Very nice batch
I didnt know you broke up some of the rocks for your batch,
Sometimes the fractured rock breaks later so you have a batch about polished and it goes.
Might be a answer ,another could be the quality ors some flaw ,
The Agates are awsome you have been at the right place at the right time the white one Pic 3 is outstanding I havent seen many Scotish Agates with white on them

Jasper's can be difficult sometimes because they can undercut and chip. I really think you may need more rock in there or filler. Should help. If they are internal fractures from the hammer, throw them back in with your next batches rough grind, they will eventually take shape and be able to move forward. You sure have some beautiful stones here! Fran
