Nice shine on a lot of those and quite a varied mix of material too. Some of the pieces look very rounded while some look somewhat rough edged. Was this a mixture of different batches at different stages or is that the result of different hardnesses or toughness of materials?

Sampson This is a mixed batch, most of the stuff is the same hardness except for the obsidian which I just threw in as filler, was surprised at how well it did. Some of the harder agates were mini slabs and some came out of the rotary. I was just so excited to have the vibe running again I just put in enough misc to make a batch.

Nice batch as you say the Obsidian could do with a little mor shine but it is a difficult rock
I like the Montana Agate on the last picture right at the bottom
My that stuff is so interesting
What is the pink/orange circle just above the MA it looks interesting ?

Nice batch- heck even the obsidian came out surprisingly decent. I think I would run that again by itself- should be a superb batch!

The pink orange disc is petrified wood, hopefully I will have enough obsidian out of the rotary to do a batch of just obsidian shortly.
