That looks like a small piece of pottery in the bottom right in the first picture also That looks like a fun project for the whole crew, recovering those old trade beads. Could you use any more help ? That's my kind of project. Harley

Very neat! I was really into beads for awhile as I had access to several pre and post contact Indian sites in Calif. One yielded some pretty cool glass beads but more recent than yours. Lots of shell beads too....Mel

yes that is bone thats why I said I thought this was a midden site/mound that got pushed. We find alot of cannon deer leg bone fragments, turtle shell, fish verts and numerous other animal bones, alot of deer teeth etc....this si the paeo of bead sites, the begining of the end for Florida
