Those are some classy pieces of palmwood. Sweet finish, great coloration. Is that all Texas palm?

Snuffy, thanks to you I finally have some palm wood and I think it is beautiful. The shine on this batch is really beautiful and the palm wood is so special.

I have picked up some from around Bastrop, Smithville, and LaGrange and it is said to keep on going to the east. You have a good color range there. Most of what I find is gray but still shines up well. It is the Texas State Fossil.

God looking batch of wood!! Much more color than I am used to seeing too. Have you done any of the black palm wood? It seems to chip more than the lighter color does.
