To be really valuable, you would need the place and date they were collected, and the name of the person who originally collected them.

Sherri, it looks like azurite on malachite to me. Never seen linarite in crystal structure before. Donna has buckets full of the same type material and also of linarite. I could be wrong, just going by what we have here and labeled by a geologist. Selling fist sized specimens of each for $8-20, depending on how good they are. None have the crystal structure that yours does, though.

Sheri, I think you should take it to a museum or a college. It sure looks like Linarite and it is really pretty. I'd hate for her to let it go too cheap.
The crystal is beautiful as well.
