Nothing real spectaular to write home about but, the shine on this batch turned out very well. I just can't seem to get the shine on cabs and tumbles to show in pics - but I'm workin on it! New picture- If you save it, you may be able to work it in edit to be able to see the cellular structure in the white spots. If you can ID it I would really like to know what they are. I just can not, with my camara, get enough detail to show them. I've got a 12lb'er in burnish till Monday. I think I'll try some early morning light pics on those and see if I can capture the shine that way. thanks for lookin....gr

Snuffy, I stumbled into a small area where it was just laying on top and got about a 1/2 lb of it and haven't found any since. It's some very hard jasper

I agree I love those yellow jaspers, they just kinda jump out at you. Also that blueish one in the top right of the photo. Looks shiny to me! Nice batch.

Great looking batch and the shine looks super. I also like the bright yellow jasper. What is the brown one with spots at bottom center of the pic?......Mel

Mel, I'm not sure! I'm thinkin a jasper and it has fossilized creatures of some sort. I'll find it and see if I can take a close up of it and post back here.
