This is my first attempt a tumbling, although I have been creating cabs for almost twenty years ..... so far so good.... this lot are about to go into the final polish stage, fingers crossed.

Guys, I hope that you can help me ? this batch has been through a pre polish stage and was looking good, however after 4 days of polishing we seem to have taken a retrograde step and the batch looks similar to how it did after the 220 stage ..... nice and clean but dull !
I have been scrupulously careful not to cross contaminate, in fact I have taken a piece from the tumbler and using the same polishing compound as is in the tumbler acquired a decent polish after just a few seconds on my leather polishing wheel, not quite as good as I expect my cabs to look but getting close, any Ideas as to what I should do now ?? .... thanks in advance.
Take care

Give it 10 days in the polish if you're using a rotary.

Nice bunch you have there...looking good!
We've do the same at times... taking them from the tumbler and give it a good few seconds on the polishing pad... with good results
