Great cab - However I have a gut feeling that's Deschutes Jasper, rather than Biggs Blue. Deschutes typically has a tighter patter such as this piece and many pieces of it had opalized characteristics to it. I've personally walked in this pit, as I live only about 15 minutes from it.
Great Job!

Sweet material, and sweet cab. After seeing this pic, I went back and took a second look at some pics a friend posted on another site a couple days ago. He just got finished hounding in the Biggs area. 2 of the pics are clearly Deschutes jasper. Each is between 20 & 25 lbs. Just looked on Ebay and saw 1 slab similar to his that was going for $148.00. Immediately sent my friend an email and told him to get his butt back to the location and haul out a couple tons.

Looks like a mountain region pictured through a fish eye lens. Very beautiful cab.

This is Deschutes. It is very expensive material to buy; way more than Biggs. Love it.

Clint that is probably one of the best I have seen. You shaped it to show the patterns and I love the results! That is FANTASTIC!
