WHat do you all think of Polish Flint as a cabbing material. Is it hard to work? Does it take on a nice shine? Thanks Stu

I would hunt around a bit for other polish flint as that may be starting to get too high unless its killer pattern and high grade

That's a nice one. I've got a beautiful slab of that stuff that was a gift from dbrealityrocks. I haven't cabbed it yet..... so many slabs, so little time.

Wow I guess there is a high demand for Polish Flint that baby went for $49.00 I have dealt with this seller he only han dles really good material no surprises on delivery. O well there is always a next time I think this seller must have purchased a mountain in Poland because he has a piece of the stuff on the block every week. Very consistant in quality all the time. I just have to wait for everyone to be asleep. Stu

Jeffrey Hill had some more of his great slabs at our local Valley Spings Pow Wow and, of course, and as usual, I couldn't resist getting more of those beauties. He is my go to source for large flawless slabs. I don't buy any slabs from anyone online, only in person. Fortunately he frequents many of the same shows that I do. Bob

Man that was one awesome slab! Really like the Polish stuff and all flint is a delight to work. We have similar patterns in some of the Texas stuff but for some reason I don't understand, most of ours doesn't quite have the strong contrast in the banding which really pisses me off *L*. I'd love to be sitting on a mountain of that beautiful Polish material.....Mel
