These took a long time to get polished. I have had 2 failures after the polish stage and this is the third attempt to make them shine. I have had them rolling since 3-19 and just took them out of burnish tonight. They really have a great shine. I started these back when I seen a lot of tumblers posting their Tears here. I started with over 6 lbs. of Tears and Snowflake Obsidian and now they have been reduced to just over 2 lbs. of obsidian. But I am proud because I made them shine finally. Here are some pics. I know the last pic is blurry, but I did not know Tears were so translucient and I wanted to show. This last pict is of about 24 lbs. of Lakers. I have had them rolling since 3-15 and took them out of polish last week. I will take more pictures of them after I sort through them. Thanks for looking.

I love tumbled obsidian. I have a batch tumbling right now--in the past I have had to be careful to avoid having corners and edges get frosted. Obsidian is definitely a touchy material to be sure. Good job.
