My latest 15-lb batch is NEARLY done after a fiasco involving a mixture of mis-labeled pre-polish and polish in the same batch and various breaks where the tumbler sat silent. The damn slabs and flat faces don't like to polish up as nicely and quickly as the corners and edges do! One more week or so in AO polish and then we'll see. Yes, I put beads in with them, heh. It breaks down something like this, I think. 3 lbs of small Laker agates 1 lb of pink bubblegum agate from E. Oregon 1.5 lb slabs and slabettes, end cuts .5 lb pet wood 5 lbs misc assorted large agates 4 lbs assorted misc other stuff (tumbler fodder: small clear agates, jasper etc) For the next batch, I'll be running a BUNCH of Calapooya plume agate chips and chunks, Oregon petrified wood and carnelian chunks.

Looking great bud. You're right about the slabs, the flat surfaces don't polish as quick but the vibe tumblers will take care of those.

Anxious to see how they turn out... looking good so far!!! I agree with Randy, slabs and preforms polish really well in a vibe.
