Looking good. How do you attach the tops to the stone? And what are you going to do with 600+ of these things? lol

How much do you ask for them? Do you have chains for them?
Just curious.

I get $5 each, or buy two and get one free. I tie a 24 inch wax cord to each one.

So do you cut them before polishing? And do you use a glue to attach the top to the stone?

Yes, they do have to be cut. Having slab saws makes a difference, but all of this can be done with nothing more than a cheap tile saw and a good tumbler. (can't skimp on the tumbler!!). I went through about 30 pounds of slabs to get 10 pounds of pendants. The bell caps are attached with 330 epoxy. It's a 2 part epoxy that's stronger than super glue once it cures.

OK so what tumbler do you use? I was thinking about a Lortone 3A to start off with.

Tumble pendants do much better in a vibe. I use a UV-10 (Thumlers), but you don't need one that big. The Rockshed sells Lot-O-Tumblers with a 4 1/2 pound capacity. I was thinking of getting one so I don't have to cut so many pendants between loads. Everyone on these forums that have a Lot-O-Tumbler will swear by them, I've never heard a single bad review. Here ya go.... www.therockshed.com/tumbler1.htmlEDIT.... Hey, I just noticed that they sell a Thumlers UV-3 (2 1/2 pound capacity) check it out.... www.therockshed.com/tumbler3.html

Great looking pendants. Nice to see you are still churning those things out. Steve

You know Randy, you have the magic touch! If I cut up a bunch of slabs like that and through them in my UV 10, I would end up with a ton of pits and pockets full of grit...(I know because I have attempted your style on a few). You just seem to know which ones will make it through just fine. They are all beauties too! Fran
