Here we are, folks...my latest batch of what-have-you rocks that I decided to make shiny via tumbling. Some were repeats from previous batches, riding along for more polish. These have been tumbling for more than three months and are finally finished to my satisfaction. The batch started out at about 16.5 pounds and ended up at about 12 pounds. I used a Thumler's Model B tumbler for all tumbling stages using grit and aluminum oxide polish from the Rock Shed. ImgUR album with descriptions here(click picture for extra-large version) The whole enchilada, laid out on a full-size bath towel folded in half. The big 'bar of soap' at the bottom is a big piece of seam agate I found earlier this year. Pink bubblegum agate from Eastern Oregon. Various slabettes, preforms, end cuts. Carnelian agate. Lake Superior agate and various Brazilian cut pieces. Small clear/yellow agates and pet wood Blue agates and misc yellow/clear agate, Brazilian slabs and end cuts. Hope you liked them!

Very nice!!! Your Carnelians look like the material I've collected near the Oregon border. Are they from the Green Mountain/Kalama area?
Also in your slabette, end cut picture in the center is a nice looking piece with blue in it. Looks like it tumbled really well, what is it?
Really nice batch!!! ~Krystee

Most of the carnelian I found locally in Oregon, with a few pieces sourced from local rock shows and friends. The piece with blue and gold is pietersite. Thanks everyone! *sorts out rough for next batch*

That is a bunch of beautiful stone! In the 3rd picture, I could swear the slabett in the middle is Pietersite and it looks amazing! I never knew it had a chance of tumbling properly! Great job! Fran
