Gary,gr ran a contest a few weeks back to identify a Mugwamp.I was lucky enough to win and received a nice sfrb of small tears. There are many in this batch, they will be beautiful in a jar and placed in a window. These were all nicely rounded,I put them in a Lortone 45c in one coarse charge and let run 2 weeks. Then I went to ao1000 4 days in the lot-o,then 4 days cerium oxide polish,I normally use only ao but had some cerium on hand.Patience isnt one of my virtues, this batch took a total of 22 days. I put a few larger chunks of obsidian in to bring up the volume with some ceramics. Another shot,a nickel is for scale Tried a couple different light bulbs to backlight. A good pic of the rough is shown on his contest thread. Thanks for looking and thanks to Gary again for the contest. snuffy

Wow, dang, those came out great, Snuffy. I've got a handful of the apache tears but have been saving them (i.e. not wanting to mess them up due to my inexperience).
