Yeah, we're all here, but there aren't many rocks in "ississippi". A few rockheads, see other posts, but no rocks. ALibami ought to have some decent stuff around B'ham. Good Luck.
Keep um rollin' Pete

Bad news Taallaadaaga is not in Birmingham ;-) Its about hour or so East on I-20, when you pass Lincoln AL your there. You will be in the foothills of the Appalachians Mountain range. Absolutely beautiful land. If you can make the time go to Mt. Cheaha State Park and see Little River Canyon....you won’t forget it. Welcome to AL :-) Dwight www.netstate.com/states/geography/al_geography.htm

Pdwright --- we just stay in birmingham as that is as close as you can find a room ( wife won't camp when there is a chance to see dale jr. , or a few others -- has to have the hair done, etc.) -- we usually get up early and go across 20 to the track then fix a big breakfast and watch the traffic start backing up ;D ;D Edog---- jeff Who? ? Kim --- I looked you guys up and it doesn't look like it will fit as my wife wants to get to the beach!--- was hoping it would be just an hour or so -- I'd just tell her I must of made the wrong turn but, hey, I'll stop and ask directions from these people (rocky, sands , etc) ;D ;D --- would you believe ? , they have rocks just like I do at home !! ;D ;D did think I saw where someone lived right in birmingham but don't remember who it was now
