To all;
I'm going through my limb cast information and trying to find out if there is a difference between what I see as Paulina Limb Casts and Congleton Hollow Limb casts. Is this the same site - or a set of related sites - or are these two descriptions of vastly different hunting areas?
Thank you very much for your help. (This is why I'm doing the Index - I want to try to eliminate questions like this for people unfamiliar with an area.)

I'll throw a curve at you Lowell. This one was collected just a little south east of the Salton Sea back in the 50's. It's either a limb or root partial cast. After the organic material rotted away, the hollow only partially filled in with a chalcedony shell and quartz druse interior.

From my experience Paulina and Congleton Hollow are the same site's, or another name on them is South Fork Crooked River. Congleton Hollow is the name of the road leading into the digs. However a few miles west there is another spot to dig as well, both are along side the S.F. Crooked River.
There are another variety of material in the Post, Oregon area. These are more replacement pieces, rather than a true "cast".

As someone who has a massive collection of limbcast from the Paulina area, I can confirm that Paulina limbcast is the same as congelton hollow limbcast. Paulina is the general area, so names are interchangeable.
