I've been going through piles and came across a small clutch of eggs from Oregon that - if I remember right - Jason indicated came from the Ochoco Beds in oregon. A couple are tinted red, and some show ribbons of red waving through them. I also have a couple uncut pieces that I think might be Buchanan Ranch eggs. If anyone can verify this, I'd appreciate it. The maybe Buchanan... Thanks for looking, Lowell

Yeppers you've got them! All the upper eggs are Ochoco Agate Bed, also known over the years ago Viewpoint, TVGC Claim and even a typo? once named it the Ocholo Agate Bed LOL.
The bottom eggs do look like Buchanan, however a cut face would tell for sure.
Great looking eggs!

Hi Elementary, Yes they do look like they may have come from the Ochoco Mountains in Central Oregon. Picture #4 looks like it may possibly be from the Lucky Strike mine. I think you are also correct with the Buchanan Ranch eggs. There is a fee dig coming up there over the Memorial Day weekend. $1 per pound if you dig them or $1.25 if you get them already dug. I think the information is on orerockon.com site. These look like they would be great when you polish them!
