I have tumbled these quite a long time and am starting to see some fire in the small pieces. Each ball of fire seems to be backed by one of the white spots in the agate. Is this what makes the fire? All I am able to get here is small pieces. The larger ones are mostly clear or the clay matrix that surrounds these. Does anyone know of a source for some good size stones with fire or have any for sale? Attachments:

It looks to me like there is quite a bit more fire there than what is seen at first sight, but you will need to get carving to get there.
And yes, Cristopher is selling some goooood stuff. Just PM him.

I got some fire agates from Jo way back and tried to start working on them. I am not having any luck really and set them aside to work on them another day.
I'll be interested in seeing yours.
