The second stone pictured here is a Maury Mt. Moss in Amethyst. I haven't come across anyone who has heard of this material. The Amethyst vein was really small and it was considered extinct in a few days. A very rare and gorgeous stone. Okay, first, I got this chunk of Plume agate at the $.25 a pound sale and the guy didn't know what this plume agate was called or where it was from. Does anyone know? Now for this one. Can anyone guess what this stone is?

Second one looks like it might be a piece of agua nueve agate. First one is nice too.

Wow great cabs! Tough call on the first example. I'm thinking it may be Willamette River Plume out of Oregon but another good guess might be Sonora Plume out of Mexico which can show lot of different plume types but has types very similar to your pic. I'd second the Agua Nueva guess on number two.....Mel

I think Mel is right on the first one, I'm pretty sure it's from Oregon.
Good one Ed, but it was America that had the big hit on the radio.
