Has anyone tried using Black Aluminum Oxide Abrasive, 70 Grit from Harbor Freight Tools Store? 44lbs is on sale for $40, that's less than $1 per pound. Thought I might try it in my big 40# tumbler for the first stage.
Any thoughts? David

Dang, wish it would, but the ao rounds off and doesnt have the cutting action.Silicon carbide keeps sharp cutting edges as it breaks down and continues cutting until its used up.I look at it every time I go there hoping they made a mistake and sent sc grit. But aint happened yet! snuffy
