Wrapped this one with some 14K GF on Saturday, to give to my neighbor's ten year old daughter for her birthday. She really liked it! Back side I chose to wrap this stone because of it's small size, no bigger than 3/4" tall, and I kept the wrap minimal (she's a small girl!). Does anybody have any idea what type of agate it is? I told her I'd try to find out and let her know. I picked the stone up at a nearby club's show earlier this year along with some other tumbled stones (it's not a flat-backed cab), for $1 each. This one I reshaped a little bit and repolished on my flat lap. Here's a photo of a tumbled agate slab I wrapped in April from same source: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wwp&thread=52228&page=1Thanks for looking! Jean

Can't tell you what it is, but definitely a beauty and you did a great job with the wrap!!!

Thanks, rxscram and Cathy! It was a little tedious to wrap a double domed rock (more domed on the front side), especially one that small. But it was worth it!
Agate ID, anybody? Thanks! Jean

;D That's beautiful and soooo shinny. I would think it is lake Superior agate, because of the color and the bands. Hub

Thanks, y'all! So, we have Laguna and Laker... Any other suggestions? Jean

I'd go with the Laker suggestion for the same reasons.

Yeah, looks like a laker mainly because of the small size, that looks like the entire stone. Great job!!

no guesses on what it is other than the obvious; a great job and kudos for a good job on the back too

Thank you all for the compliments, and the ID. Looks like we'll go with laker. It was a sweet little stone, and now I'll be looking for more! Jean
