this batch went through almost twice and I am not too happy with it. just a few pieces turned out ok hopefully going to start a new batch soon 1. I'm not sure what this one is but it's pretty this is one I tried to cab on the saw-Not an easy task some moss agate with spots and others

Well, the ones that turned out look great! I hate when a batch goes bad. Went home for 20 hours in the middle of my hitch to see Silversun Pickups play in Anchorage. While home I checked on my 3-1.5 tumbler. One barrel looked great, thick slurry not much grit left. The other two were gassy as hell and had no slurry. Dumped them through my screen stack to recover the grit and left the tumbler empty. Really frustrating.

Those look real nice Tammy! The first one has a very pleasing combination of colors. And speaking as someone who only cabs on a saw, I think you did a great job on that cab. It will get easier as you practice. Love the moss agates too. Bill

Something I think may help you quite a bit in the future is to do loads of ONLY the same type of rocks. If you do Montana agate,,,that's it. If you do rose quartz,,,that's it,,etc,etc,etc. Don't try to do mixed loads even if they are of the same hardness.
Once you have successfully done many,many loads and are satisfied with your results you can move on to mixing you loads.
