Beautiful!
I've never seen good rocks at an estate sale, but while in South Carolina I found a little box of rocks. One was labelled "Middle Earth Burp"! Treasures everywhere!

That is classic Woodward Ranch! I found a large vein up on the hill to the west of the house and shop. I found it about 5 years ago. Hang on to that pretty! Sheri

I was going nuts trying to figure out what mine was, it's the same color as his, but mine's little round polyps instead of plumes. I think it's just further up the rock and cut the other way from the polyps. Here: Does anyone think this is the same thing?? I can't ID this one either: I got them at a sale too.

Sheri's right, that's a great red plume from Woodward Ranch in Texas. However, the samples you have Helen are NOT from Woodward Ranch. They look more like the many different varieties of agates that are found in Arizona.
