We got lucky and John (herchenx) shared a bit of his turritella with us. This is fun stuff to cut. Here's a picture of the slabs. Thanks again John and seeing your great trip pictures adds a lot to seeing the slabs now. Chuck

That has got to be the nicest turitella I have seen! Loaded with fossils, a lot of contrast, and looks really hard, to boot! Jean

Oh Yeah! You could not have perfectly contained, preserved, slabbed and shown those shell fossils any better!

Some really nice slabs of turritella. I haven't seen anything that thick of that quality in awhile. Nice find.
