Coral is the scurge of the river in some locations. If it is in the way of the boat they prefer it out of the way in this particular river. And anyway, tumbled, cabbed, slabbed,drilled-what difference does it make. The rock is still being manipulated.I take great pride in what i create from tumbling.I find it very challenging. And I really like to have fracture free tumbles. This experiment did not result in fracture free rocks. But i would not know till i tried.

Sorry if it sounded like I was putting down tumbling. It is just really hard to find fracture free rocks up here in the freezing zone. I do some tumbling myself. Jim

No problem Jim.Have had that said before. That material is very common here, especially in that color grade.20-30 pound chunks all day w/out a single fracture.

Would you be interested in some Wyoming nephrite for a trade? It is not totally fracture free but it has a lot less fractures than all the other rock here. Pretty tough stuff. PM me if you are interested. Jim
