Planning to be in Riverside for the Riverside County Fair in a couple weeks (who can resist camel and ostrich races? ). Was wondering if the Jurupa Mountains Cultural Center is of any interest? Anything else in the immediate area of Riverside y'all can recommend? Not really wanting to drive very far, it's a quick trip. Thanks!

Oh, you are cruel. Take a longer trip up here and you can chase snow bunnies then race for the fireplace to stop the shivering. Walked to the post office today in 14 degrees and snowing. The snow came in November and has stayed all winter.
Don't fall off your ostrich. ;D ;D ;D Jim

Jim, if they have Ostrich or Camel rides available, you can bet I'll do it and there will be photographic evidence!

Jurupa is nice with lots of stones and spheres on display. Besides it is along the highway and FREE! It's 15 miles from my place so I went there some time ago. I hear they sell lots of rocks, but you have to ask to see what they have.
