Of course the sun warms the earth. We all learned that in kindergarden, or earlier.

I watched that last night on the news. Maybe it will finally shut the greens and Al Gorp up.

yeah, were doing such a wonderfull job safeguarding the future of our children/grandchildren, no matter how much BS is spread by the denialists the future is allready been layed by us but to deny it just so you can feel good is hypocritical; we are supposed to advance the species, not kill it. we don't have long to wait, mother nature has taken our measure and found us sorely lacking

Add to the increased solar activity the data collection problems. A majority of the temperature data is recorded at airports. What happens every year at airports throughout the world? They get bigger. Bigger = More asphalt, more asphalt = more heat collection and storage. The result is skewed data. But the faithful at AlGores medicine show and global warming chapel will never believe actual facts.

“Add to the increased solar activity the data collection problems. A majority of the temperature data is recorded at airports. What happens every year at airports throughout the world? They get bigger. Bigger = More asphalt, more asphalt = more heat collection and storage. The result is skewed data.” Really? A couple of years ago, the Fabulous Furry Kock Brothers paid a guy to study this kinda stuff. He testified to the Committee on Science, Space and Technology of the United States House of Representatives on March 31, 2011. Seein’ as how this took place after the 2010 elections, the repugs controlled the committee and the witnesses were stacked on the wingnut side of the issue. Bit of a surprise, however, when Kochs’ bitch strayed from the party line. Let me now address the problem of Poor Temperature Station Quality
Many temperature stations in the U.S. are located near buildings, in parking lots, or close to heat sources. Anthony Watts and his team has shown that most of the current stations in the US Historical Climatology Network would be ranked “poor” by NOAA’s own standards, with error uncertainties up to 5 degrees C.
Did such poor station quality exaggerate the estimates of global warming? We’ve studied this issue, and our preliminary answer is no.
The Berkeley Earth analysis shows that over the past 50 years the poor stations in the U.S. network do not show greater warming than do the good stations. ps – Solar activity has declined since about 1980. Kinda pops that cherry too

Really, then why are we seeing all these articles on increased solar activity? Like solar flares that are going to wipeout our cell phones...

im never going to buy into the gore baloney...i will keep on blowing smoke of diff kinds into the air...along with racing fuel and big boat motor exhaust fumes. but this solar thingy...hmmm...helped my kid do a little solar research while he was in high school...since i have his old comp...thought i would look back thru his old bookmarks. i used chicago as i had seen something a few weeks ago about a record run on high temps on the weather channel. solar activity is reaching a high in this cycle...check out these chicago records that have been broke or nearly broke....paying attention to the old record dates. vernonhills.patch.com/articles/weather-records-continue-to-be-broken-in-chicago-areathen take a look at these charts...the records that were broke or nearly broke had low solar activity during the old record highs...a few cool pics also. www.lunarplanner.com/SolarCycles.htmli still believe all of this is just natural cycles of our little world..kev.

Hmmmm?
Solar activity . . .
Chicago . . .
January . . .
Yeah, that’s it!!! ;D
Cool. Now plot these on your Solar Cycle Chart.
2010 Russian mega-heatwave – tens of thousands dead
2011 Texas warm spell – burned a couple of trees
Every friggin’ year lately, it seems - Australia

How does the dirty thirties fit into your theory Rich? And I guess global warming killed off the dino's in the Arctic to.
If Gore and and Suzuki practiced what they preach, They might have a point. But they don't. Con artists both of them.
