I've had my eye out for some nice Pietersite rough for a while now. It is on the pricey side. One day I will stumble onto a bargan

Sharp I love the blue in this Material Thanks for showing When i can afford it its my favorite rough to work with. You have to really work hard to get a piece to turn out bad lol. Treasures of The Earth Shows has a dealer that sells tumbled pieces that i buy and rework she has the very nice blue color that I like. Still rather pricey but i only pick the very best she has and you have 99.9 percent usage. The prices were small chips 1 to 1 1/2 inch size 4.00 to 8..00 each most are 1/8 up to 1/4 inch thick. That show is held in most major cites 2 times a year( spring and fall) next time they are in town i will see if she makes the whole circuit and her name as it escapes me at the moment. George

Wow, that's incredible! I did notice something in the pics though, what looks like the remnants of tooling marks that didn't get polished out. I don't get to see too many spheres so is it normal to have concentric rings like that left over on the finished product?
