Worked on some pictures tonight... the first two I don't know exactly what they are - the third is yet another piece of the ocean picture rock. This first one I bought at a gem show out of a box of slabs that belonged to an old rock-hound who passed away. It was already trimmed and outlined and I'd like to think that it was going to be the next one up for the old guy. The middle/darker section is actually a softer stone with a sheen when tilted in the light. I had trouble getting all the scratches out of the soft section and spent a long time on it. Thanks for looking :-) As a bonus, here's a couple I worked on yesterday: Psilomelane - this stuff was TOUGH to work with and it turned my whole garage black lol. I had to go back to 400 grit three times before it got into the condition it is. Graveyard point plume agate - this one started off a lot bigger until breakage occurred...

You are on a super roll. Love all your creations but that Psilomelane is absolutely out of this world.

kk said it first, but I have to second that incredible psilomeline. The time you put in was obviously well worth it.

I think the 1st pic jasper is a variety of African Queen.
The Willow Creek looking one is a colorful dunes jasper out of Madagascar. Lately it has been all gray/white - but I used to see lots of the pink/white.
The composition on the graveyard is very nice - especially since you had to recover form breakage
