I'm trying a bunch of different types of stuff to see what else besides montanas ( ) I like to work with. Crazy-legs - the fracture is very solid - I drop tested the slab before deciding to work with it and it held up nicely. The picture doesn't do it justice - the internal features are stunning under magnification. I have two or three more pre-forms from this slab and hope they come out just as nice. Brazilian agate - nothing special but fun to work with in a sadistic sort of way... Mookaite! love this stuff - 'nuf said Imperial jasper - hard as a rock, pun intended. Graveyard point - an ugly (or beautiful depending on your point of view) druzy hole opened up right at the end. I saw it coming - it looked like a diamond inside the rock so I worked hard to get it to the surface and then... crap lol. Thanks for looking :-)

The (ug) druzy pocket might be a good place to drill it for a jump ring. Do you plan to polish all of those. lol incredible shine. Jim

No fair putting the crazy lace first--it is *wow!* The imperial pulled me back in, though. All are gorgeous.

Thanks all for the nice comments! Your energy feeds my obsession :-) The (ug) druzy pocket might be a good place to drill it for a jump ring. Do you plan to polish all of those. lol incredible shine. Jim Thanks Jim! that's a great idea about drilling the hole - I would have to do a major re-shape to center it but it's still a good idea that I hadn't thought of.

Absolute killer shine on all of them. One of the best things about cabbing is the immense variety of material you can use.
