I'm trying to get away from ovals ;D but I've had these in process for a while and I'm trying to finish up some oldies.... This is dryhead agate - from a small slab my brother gave me. Interesting stuff to work with - it's hard and soft and has one sparkly druzy and and another in black. Another graveyard point plume - regency rose I think they call this. Moss agate with pyrite. I posted photos of this slab quite a while ago - found it at the flea market and I'm finally trying to do something productive with it.

Wow--all three of those are not only beautiful, they're very interesting. You've got a great eye, to match your technique!

I agree with Susan. Great work and great way to frame up the stones.

You had me at Dryhead...lol. (I seem to be obsessed with Dryhead Agate but it's rare and I'm not rich.) That graveyard plume is beautiful, you oriented it perfectly to show off all those pretty plumes. The moss with pyrite is also beautiful, looks like you got a great shine on all of them.

I go through oval stages... then there's times where I don't do markup at all... lol.
Some really fine cabs here... regardless of the shape.

Good looking all. Don't much care for ovals either. I much prefer round or freeform.
