Well, it looks like my mom's leg is getting much better so I'm going to start planning my trip back to Montana. Since work is still slow and I'm not in a hurry to get back I figured what the heck, use the credit card and vacation on the way back. I don't know exactly when I'll be leaving but probably shortly after Memorial Day (gotta avoid the high travel and drunk drivers). I usually go back the same route as I come here but I want to change it up a little. I am leaving from my mom's near Wickenburg, AZ headed to Helena, MT. My usual route is to take Hwy 93 through to Lost Wages, NV then head up I15 all the way to Helena. I am not fond of Vegas so it won't hurt my feelings if I don't go through there again. So far I don't have any real plan so figured I'd ask for some ideas. I would like to head up to Sedona (maybe visit a friend, yes, Amy, that's you...lol). Then head north to go through Northern AZ possibly heading to Bryce Canyon. After that I'm not sure where I want to go. I want to visit with any RTh'ers who want to meet up along the way or do some rockhounding or both. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate them. I'm not exactly sure who lives where so if you live or hound anywhere between AZ and Montana please feel free to speak up.

I am way out of your way but if you go through Yellowstone Park I could head west to hook up with you somewhere over that way. There is another variable. I am helping my son do a tile job that was supposed to last two weeks but the owner of the house keeps adding things on so we could be there another month.
I will check and see where 115 runs and I could possibly meet somewhere along that trail. I have been sitting in this damn little town all winter so I could use a change of scenery for a few days.
Might be just as easy to meet in Helena sometime. I am going to make a trip to Great Falls sometime in the not too distant future.
Either or, neither nor have a safe trip. Jim

Thanks Jim. We'll see if we can work something out. If not on the road then in Montana. Wish I could remember who all lives in those areas, it would be fun to meet up or at least get some ideas for rockhounding on the way. Diane
