I haven't tried any of those but I doubt your satified with it in the end -- check out stoneage industries --- they have a 20% off sale going on now on the 303 's -- and they weren't showing list price to start with so you may find a decent deal there . -- you could also try "Eloxite" --- they were showing the next lowest prices

I bought a 10" blade from him, but I haven't used it because my saw came with a Hot Dog blade. Also bought some 4" and they are marked Lopacki blades.

Randy: Most 16 inch blade run at least .050 to .064 in thickness and some are in the .080 range. I'd think .040 would be pretty easy to dish as that's a very thin kerf, more like what you'd find in a 10 inch blade....mel

they look like lopaki blades and iv found that with his slab saw blades they cant take the heat the cores warp fast with continues use slab after slab -- i liked his trim saw blades better they lasted longer because they didn't get as hot with just trimming pieces
i have been mostly using the black blades you see on ebay 14 inch goes for around 80 but have found they get dull fast so i just tried one from stone-age Mk-301 i think or was it 303 don't remember just got it a week or so ago but it was cuttin nice for me and it was on sale too don't forget to get a spacer from them if you order one i forgot to tell linna but they sent them separate

I couldn't find any prices on Exolite's website, am I missing something? Also, on the link that June posted, the MK 301 blade cost more. Does it cut faster, last longer?

The 301 is notched. Otherwise it is supposed to slide through agate. If you use oil anyway, you could do a 301. I still like the 303 (slintered).
You could get two Kingsly blades at the price Kim mentioned fo rthe same price. SOmething to think about.

Yeah, I saw that. I think that I've decided on the Kingsley North, looks like the best deal so far.

I just replaced my old notched-rim 10 inch with an M.K. 303. It is well-worth the premium price. It cuts faster ,with one third the noise and the cuts are so smooth I can just go to 150/220 tumble.lsmike
