Boy, you sure had a busy weekend! That eyeball rock is different. I like the laker in the middle in the third picture from the bottom. It looks perfect.

Eyeball rock is great.Fine batch.Morgan Hill is fracture free looking. The more i tumble the more i like fracture free stuff...The ones w/out cracks are the ones i covet.LOL

Thanks James. That morgan hill was supposed to be cutting rough for cabs but out of a 3x3 square piece of rough I think I got one fracture free cab. I gave up and started tapping all around with a hammer and then tumbled what was left which was not very much Chuck

I hate to say this, but when i go to the little rock shop downtown they have great tumbles with a min of fractures.I suppose they are imported. They are expensive though, like $3 for a 7/8 inch tumble.Like 50 varieties. It motivates me to enjoy doing my local materials. Good that you tumble what you cannot cab.Get a polish on it and that is still a lot of satisfaction.

Great job on some that are less than easy--although you sure are making them look easy!

Mike- There are a few obsidian pieces in there but I cushion with enough ceramic media so they still come out acceptable even in this jasper/agate mix. They come out shinier in a solid obsidian batch but still acceptable to do a few this way.
If your going to run an all obsidian batch you gotta use member "tntmom"s tutorial. You will get a perfect batch if you follow every step just as she wrote it. I don't see it pinned here but PM her if you need the PDF file.
