He's still there, digging out the obsidian like crazy. He will be taking a break shortly for his daughter's wedding and probably back at it again.

I got a PM from him a few days ago. Sounds like they are digging 2-3 tons a day! I would not want to do that in a week! lol

He told me he did 4,000 lbs on Saturday. There must be a helluva market for that stuff considering how much he's dug so far.

I am home for a week getting ready for my daughter Tomi's wedding. She is marrying Sam who is digging obsidian with me, so I gain a son this weekend but we will lose a digger for 2 weeks while they go off on their honeymoon.
As for a progress report, our first cargo container is almost ready to go, we had to stop because we broke the scale, we have a new one on the way. I have a few orders to fill while I am home so if you have an order in that I was going to fill this week and I don't contact you on it by tomorrow then please remind me in case I forget (which is stating to be a common thing or so my wife keeps telling me) I will return to digging next week.
Sure is good to be home! Tony

Glad to hear that your having a good season on the Mountain, Tony! Health, business & Grandpa duties have kept us far from Davis Creek this year, but we hope to make it up for a few days in late Summer. Congratulations on the new son! A digger, yeah!
Good Fortune!
