Who do you guys go to for bearings like this and what type of bearings are they called? This is the shaft out of my Lortone ST-10 saw. The inside bearing has been getting louder and louder and now it started chattering and leaving saw marks. I've already contacted lortone to see if they have replacements but I know this saw is discontinued so they might not support it with parts anymore.

those are pressed on, and the assembly clamped into a "race"?
Might suffice to get mfg and part number off the side shields and google is your friend. No doubt you have local bearings houses up there, we do here.

I get most of my bearings from Ebay or Amazon.

Looks like the interior of a stamped steel type 2pc pillow block with upper and lower parts. The smaller black part should have a set screw that you loosen if you can twist it the thing should separate from the bearing and bearing should come right off. Of course i'm talking if it's a clean shaft yours is not. I don't think they are pressed on but I could be wrong. It might seem like it if the shaft isn't cleaned up really good. Not sure what size you have but here's an example of 3/4". Question is would it be the same dimensions try one and find out if no luck from lortone. This one doesn't use the extra set collar but instead the setscrews are on the bearing shaft itself: www.ebay.com/itm/3-4-Pressed-Steel-Stamped-Steel-Pillow-Block-2-Bolt-/160399843430?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2558936066

I got mine from "bfdgems" on ebay - the part number is 200-006 (that's a Lortone number, by the way). I don't know if he'll still have any, but worth a shot, I think.

I was assuming the collars were separate from the bearings but as soon as I loosened the set screws they came right off. Luckily I didn't beat the shit out of it first before coming back and reading Rob's post hahaha.

Cool glad we could help. I might also add that "ultimateindsolutions" has been a reputable supplier for me and i've bought several hundred if not close to a thousand dollars worth of product from them over the years.

Yeah thanks Rob! From the dimensions on their chart its a perfect match so I bought two. Thanks again all.
