Hello
Currently I just finished buy and diving for all the parts for my flat lap .What currently is bugging me is that I find it kind of hard to find 12 " Electroplated Diamond Disks .Only found them in Hisglasswork and I think I saw some at kingsley but they didnt have arbor hole .I'm using a old 1" thick aluminum that I had made for another project . Its already balanced on its axis in fitted on its pinions which has a 1/2' arbor .
My question is basically where is the best place to buy 12" flat lap disk ?

Haven't ordered from them. I just did a quick search for 12" diamond discs. Their prices seem good for that large of a disc. Even a discount for 3 or more in the same size, and you can mix grits and still get the discount.
They only go from 60 - 3000 grit, but by the time you hit 3000, you already have a good semi polish. A quick hit on a felt or leather buff and they're polished.
