Hello,
I was wondering at what temperature outside, is OK for cutting rock, due to using a mineral oil. Really getting the itch to fire up the saw. I'm polishing the last batch of slabs. Plus with all the fine looking rock I bought this last winter, I'm really really wanting to cut rock.
Being that the saw is in the garage, and I have all these flat raters piling up.

sounds to me like tomarrow should be a "saw" day ! ;D --- as long as you can stand it, I'd say you could get some cut !

Id imagine any temp is fine, oh wait, I just looked at where you are from. Does it freeze? If it's too thick, try adding some baby oil. It's basically the same thing as mineral oil but thinner. It may get you saw cutting. Steve

I think anything above freezing would be OK-

Awsome!!! Its been above freezing during the daylight hours now. I'm on my last batch of slabs, the vib's will have them done in a week, so I can't let them run empty.
Been waiting on cutting some stuff from Jamie, actually I keep going thru the boxes trying to decide what to cut first.
Thanks for the replies
Mike
