they can pay the penalties from the savings in the human resources department.
Wait!! That means those folks lose their jobs and their wages go to the government. Huh? Is Obamacare killing jobs?

Bill, when we have to hire unionized gubment workers to administer a program, they put NOTHING into the healthcare of a person. But they DO cost LOTS of money. The insurers and healthcare providers increasing costs for interacting with the program administration. They call these regulatory costs. The number after the equals sign adds up to a whole lot of new and ""unexpected"" costs that must be borne. Sure, we are fining many of teens and 20 somethings for not having insurance. It ain't enough. I posted about this 6 months ago. Someone told me I was wrong and that everything gubment did was more efficient than private sector because the gubment doesn't add profit to the costs. No, they add costs to the costs and the providers must still make profit too. Same health care provider, same original cost, same profit ++ gubment regulatory costs and such = higher cost to the citizen. Thanks for making it official.

Guy on TV yesterday showing the reporter his new medical insurance bill. Has a wife and two kids, not a fancy platinum policy but rather one with a high deductible, only pays part etc. His old bill was about $333 per month. His new bill under Obamacare for next year, in the $900+ per month range. Just another working stiff getting screwed under Obamacare. Retirees will get screwed too. As I've said before, my wife lost her doctor who no longer even take insurance and our bill for a mere supplementary plan went up so much (close to 400%) that we had to shift to a much lesser plan.
Obamacare will probably be good for those who have no insurance but for those of us who have insurance, we're all gonna get screwed. Obama is a gulldanged liar and his pet medical plan is a mess......Mel

I need to adjust to $62,040 modified adjusted gross income. YES Obama, shrink my business so i qualify for your scum ball handout money. If i can't help the economy then i should suckle the economy. So you have made it a good business move to reduce my income to get your handout. Hmmm, Pay the house off, sell my real estate loan off and put the cash in the bank, convert all income into cash reserves, to qualify for my health insurance that i have to have. Basically hunker down and stop participating in the American economy-so i can afford medical coverage. I will have to do 'point of diminishing returns' study on that one. Many of us mom and pops operate close to the $62,000. Like i said, pay all debts off so i can reduce my income to qualify for handout money hmmmm. Why should i bust my ass to make 80K and spend 12K on insurance. I can go rock hunting a lot, make 61,000 get free health care -- calculating---61K + 12K(hand out $$) and live like a 61+12= 73K guy. Oh, i made 10K on the rocks. Hmmm, should i report that, so that i will loose my hand out money. hmmmm I tell you Mr Obama, your auditors will not be able to catch those cheating on their income because it will become a rampant practice. You can not bully people w/health care. People get desperate when you threaten them with the fastest rising form of complete financial failure-medical expenses. Will they chance an audit or live w/out health insurance. LOL very loudly. I will assure you they will do whatever it takes. Will be calling my accountant to find out what 'modified adjusted gross income' is. I am a person that likes to pay his taxes. Not a hand out person at all. Also a survivor...

Obama is a gulldanged liar and his pet medical plan is a mess......Mel Hi Mel, this statement made me remember my uninsured youth. Kids dont get sick. I had medical on my car insurance in case I was injured in a car wreck. But no health insurance. Back then a plan was all of $125 a month. My monthly rent was $300. My monthly budget: Rent: $300 Utilities: $100 Car insurance: $160 Gasoline: $60 Food: $160 Income:$800 after taxes (2X minimum wage) I had $20 beer money a month. $10 a case - 2 cases a month was plenty. A rent increase of $30 made me move. Force me to pay $125 for health insurance and I was bankrupt. Today's kids are not a whole lot different, except jobs are a rare as turkey teeth. So, NO, it won't be good for the uninsured youth.

Yeah Scott, when I made that statement I was not thinking of healthy young folks who do not need insurance but of all the other uninsured folks that do need insurance but will not be paying for it. The youth group will be screwed just like the rest of us except they will be forced to pay for something they do not need to help support the less healthy folks.
Funny, I heard Obama was going to be speaking on college campuses to try to convince the college kids to buy into the medical plans. That seems odd to me because when I was in college, we had insurance very cheap through the college and a free clinic on campus too. Had a sailing class accident once and it cost me nothing. So, now I'm wondering if all colleges are dropping insurance coverage for students and making them pay their own way too. That would suck as most college kids are pretty broke. Guess if they do that the government will again take money from the rest of us to subsidized their coverage.....Mel

At least here, before Ofamacare. He is perhaps the most charismatic president. Only the willfully blind think him a genius.

Obama said no such thing. This isn't socialism, yet you cry because it's not, then complain about socialism. What exactly did you WANT? The COMPANY decides who gets the better Obamacare plan, not Obama. So if Part Time workers get the better Obamacare plan, it's Obama's FAULT, but NOT the COMPANY who decided to do that's fault? How do you figure this?

Toad Toad!!!! You may be able to pick an Obamacare plan anyway!!!! This is the OFFICIAL Gov't HealthCare site for the exchanges, answering people's question about the law (the actual Federal site) and I found the answer to your question: www.healthcare.gov/what-if-i-already-insure-my-employees/That first sentence says you can dump Home Depot's shitty plan and pick a good plan from the Exchanges anyway:). They cannot stop you from doing it.

Obama’s Health-Law Premiums Test Limits of Affordability www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-09-25/obama-pulls-back-curtain-on-health-law-to-reveal-rates.htmlHealth insurance under Obamacare will cost individuals at least $2,988 a year on average, a price that Republican opponents may target as out-of-reach for many Americans who don’t qualify for U.S. subsidies. "While the $249 monthly payment is intended to be discounted through tax credits, less than half of people now buying insurance on their own may get that help. The release of the data by the Obama administration comes just six days before the Affordable Care Act’s insurance exchanges open enrollment, and a day after Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, took the floor of the U.S. Senate to oppose the law. . ."

"$2,467", he said. > > "$2,467!" cried the teacher, "What in the world were you selling?" > "Toothbrushes", said Little Johnny. "Toothbrushes", echoed the teacher, "How could you possibly sell enough tooth brushes to make that much money?" > > "I found the busiest corner in town", said Little Johnny, "I set up a Dip & Chip stand and I gave everybody who walked by a free sample." > > They all said the same thing, "Hey, this tastes like sh-t!" Then I would say, "It is sh-t. Wanna buy a toothbrush? You see, I used the President Obama method of giving you some crap, dressing it up so it looks good, telling you it's free, and then making you pay to get the bad taste out of your mouth." > > Little Johnny got five stars for his assignment.

Cruz is finally done. He is a sort of new age hero today.
Applause to Sen. Cruz. Thank you.
