I think its fake. Fit is too tight and perfect, plus the racks I have seen in person that curl that tight also have tines behind the ball and I dont see any way the buck got the ball forced past the tines.

The eye guards are piercing the ball too, looks real to me,but how the heck did he get that on his head... That would make an unusual Shoulder or European mount....

Does this mean that there is another deer around nearby who has a basketball hoop and net lodged in his rack?

I believe it . We're overrun by whitetails here on the ranch and when they are in rut or before, they will fence with anything. Amazing some of the junk they get tangled in their antlers.....Mel

Not me, i like coral. It is the coldest day of the year(50F) and opening weekend. Rut is in 2 weeks. That's the time to get a set of antlers, during the luuuure of sex. I heard one shot at about 9AM. It rained yesterday so the hunters are out in this cloudless day for sure.

We have a neighbor down he road that likes to put art in their yard. They recently put up one of those life sized cast buck deer. It's not natural colors so scared the crap out of my horse when it first went up but apparently one of our whitetail bucks thought it was real enough to get offended and whup up on it and knock it over the other day. That was a heavy sculpture too Those whitetails are strong!......Mel

Goes to show what vegetables will do for you. I am thinking a medium buck would give a wolf all he could handle.

yeah they are strong. They can run through the woods full speed even at night, catching stuff with their antlers and dont break their necks. They got thick necks.
