I'm a scrooge when it comes to spending money during xmas! I refuse to break my bank on overpriced crap, toys and etc.! Only $20 per grandchild and grownup kids! My wife and I usually only buy something simple for each other! I do make sure Tammy gets her enjoyment with decorating the house and tree...I light the yard up. Christmas is totally out of control with spending,"no pity for fools"! Using money they don't have, plus the stores could care less....

It's really very sad to observe the lengths to which the big box stores (and online merchants as well) will go to avoid the mention of "Christmas" in their commercials and advertising. Sad and disgusting. I refuse to patronize any retailer that refuses to recognize that it's "THE CHRISTMAS SEASON" and "THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS", not the "winter" version.
And no, I don't give a rat's patootie if this offends anyone - they can shove it as far as I'm concerned.
My $0.02.
