Didn't know where to real post this........... I'm sure everyone has seen the commercial about a product called "Seal It"..A spray on seal that works on most anything... Well my friends,it really works!!! I'm on my second can and with great results.. I have even stopped leaks on our church steeple with this stuff.. My rock saw is homemade with a wood base,I'm sealing it with this stuff on all the corner seams.. Don't buy it from the TV ad either...WalMart has it for 1/2 the price....

Sounds good. Is it clear? I have a leak in my travel trailer that I can not figure out where it is coming form. Maybe need to spray the entire area around the window. Jim

A church steeple I worked on last summer was still leaking after I roofed it....Thats odd, because I have 12 years of professonal roofing under my belt! So I found a spot nobody even thought about or even tried to fix..I bought a can of that seal and sprayed the area down( hard area to get too).. It stopped it at a 100%!!!!!!! First time in 22 years that steeple didn't leak....So yes I believe in the stuff Jim!

I've found when it rains and the wind is really blowing in the right direction, the wind can blow water UP the flashings where it finds it's way into the attic. After sealing the upper sides of them all I finally stopped the last of our "weird" intermittent leaks.

Okay, this isn't weather related, but my dad had a leak somewhere on his roof, water dripping down from the upper story and running down behind the siding on his front porch. It was intermittant, and not just when it rained, but also when the dewpoint was reached and the moisture in the air condensed. He wanted me (ha!) to get up on the roof and check it out.
Before getting up on the roof to take a look, I figured out that the wetness was coming from a plant on his porch that had been moved closer to the wall, and overwatered. The excess water hit the bottom rail of the siding, and moved along the wall about six feet before dripping on the ground. Plant moved, no more problem!

I have a problem rain gutter I have been trying to fix for a while now so I researched it because if it will seal a screen door in the bottom of a boat it will work, right?
But if you check online, the reviews on it are not so good. Most of them say it stops leaks short term but in a matter of weeks or months it quits working, so I have not used it. Going to try some undercarriage undercoating first, lots cheaper and it gets good reviews.

Rain gutters are a pain,we would just take it apart, sand it down, silicone it and use machine screws to seal it..

I Can't - it is a one piece gutter and it is over 100 feet long.

I have an old 3 tier fountain made of concrete that has not had any water in it in, other than rain, 5-6 yrs. Belongs to mom and was going to try to get it running for her for Christmas.... new pump, seal the bowls, maybe a coat of blue pain to make it pretty for her....Lowes near me does not carry concrete sealer anymore, not allowed to sell it according to the employee, but they had something similar to the spray sealant, and I was debatng to try it. the fountain has a few cracks in each level so the water leaks out within an hour of filling.
Do you think that stuff would work for that, or should I keep looking for concrete sealant?

Tony, if you have some small holes to fix use the underwater epoxy that comes in a plastic cylinder. You cut a piece off and knead it to activate it. Might work on a larger area with some screen reinforcement. Worked good for me on a gutter. Larry
