Thanks to all for you continued support of my photography efforts. I got som art paper at Michael's of different colors to try for a plain background in my cardboard & tissue "light box". I also cropped the new photos as suggested. Please let me know what you think & I hope you enjoy the cab. If you're getting sick of this, let me know. Great looking cab and I like the bray/white background the best, though the coloration of the cab looks more natural in the picture with the yellow background. Great work. Stu

Outstanding cab and pics! In my experience, pic one is more dead on on color so I guess I like it best. Got to say thugh that pic #3 is a real looker if the color is actually that intense.....Mel

Sweeet cab Rich! Gotta say I like the first pic the best, but then I've always used geodes/crystal clusters to prop up my cabs for pictures.

halitedigger, I always assumed that "Calico Lace" was a descriptive term rather than geographical, but you know what happens when you ass-u-me.

Thanks all for the comments & help. I am holding the cab next to the photos on my monitor & #1 followed by #3 give the most accurate color rendition.

Very pretty stone. The image with the gray background is by far the best. The geode background doesn't provide enough contrast and allows the cab's colors to blend into the background.
