I've never been able to get a workable piece of this Olympic Poppy Jasper patter before. Found this one in the mine yesterday, and had to take some slabs. This is the best one, about the size of a silver dollar. One crack along the white edge, but other wise its solid!

Thanks! I just looked back at this thread and noticed that the photo is a bit out of focus. I'm going to try to remedy that now.

Here is a better photo. Zooming in, you can see the white area is really made of micro poppies... So excited about this one!

Nice contrasts and detail! Is it as iron-rich as your other material? I've been slabbing some and my saw-sludge is nice and red.

Plenty of iron in this one... The white is a relatively small area in a larger cobble. The slab before this one had less white, but was just as striking. Pictured below:
