Ok - Ive sorted out the individual designs - so ignoring color and transparency formats - which one should be used as a sticker for cars? Design only - dont consider color or transparency yet. Let the voting begin - Vote closed on Friday 4th May. Cheers Mark Sticker Designs are listed below. Once weve voted on the actual design - I think then we can try for best colors and transparency etc. So with this in mind this vote has the unique designs only. So - In No Particular Order Sticker 1 Sticker 2 Sticker 3 Sticker 4 Sticker 5 Sticker 6 Sticker 7 Sticker 8 Sticker 9 Sticker 10 Sticker 11

Sands I messed up first time and renamed all the pics as the wrong number. After uploading them I had to delete them, delete my vote poll and start all over again - it took about and hour LOL Stupid me.

I love #10, but I voted for 6 because I will not have a website sticker on my car, I have seen people burnt by it. Terry

I want to vote for three of them, can't we have more than one? I have probably missed this whole conversation huh? What a tough call, they are all very, very cool!!! My hats off to the artists. Great work!

jamie i dont know much about makin them but i think a pattern has to be made for the design and in the long run they would be cheaper if we could all agree on one design, this way only one pattern had to be designed
i also liked #6 but i like the little grub stake guy haha so i voted #10

Because people do get URL's off of cars, shirts etc, with intend of hacking and just generally causing discord, or trying to spam them. Now I don't think a rock tumbling site would get that much attention, but I won't advertise it to anyone I don't know. But I will probably get some or one but I will black out the url. It will be the only sticker I have on my car, or ever have had. Terry

10 is cool except for the url and the prospector. I like the international rockers. I'll stick with my family experience though. Too late now but wish I would have thought about that before, with international rocks above and a family experience below. I know, go away. ;D

Don't want to rain on any parades, step on any toes, or slaughter any sacred cows....BUT the only designs that will "translate" to vinyl (and keep the cost down) are numbers 1, 3, 7, 9, and 11. The rest have multiple colors or shading that preclude a low cost window decal. All the designs will work fine for T-Shirts due to different production criteria. I don't mean to harp or denigrate anyone's design, but in the interest of producing these inexpensively (so we have more money to spend on rocks and new equipment) The design has to be ONE color. If anyone has any questions, either post them here or PM me and I'll try to respond as soon as work (my least favorite four-letter word-work) permits. Thanks people!

Hmmm - I would think 4 & 6 would also be considered 1 color - with the "shading" being thin lines of the same color (1px or so). I can see why 6 would be considered 2 colors, as there are places where the white not filled in would look strange...

maybe lose the miner all together? and maybe instead of RTH all solid black, he could acheive a shading effect by just hatching with the solid color? i guess more like sticker 6?
i appreciate jmsj's comments about cost effective production.

jmsj I don't know what printing technique you plan to use for printing rth stickers but in offset printing - designs 4, 5, 6 and 10 are also considered to be in one color. Some of them are shaded but still in one color. Gray is also considered black - lower percentage black but still black. If you consider “sieve” printing (I am not sure about term) I know that there should be no shading - but no 6. has no shading at all. Shading effect is done with black lines only. Same thing could be done with no. 10 (5 and 8 also). Problem is going to be prospector. Especially, because it's low-res gif. I could try to redraw it in some vector-based program but it is going to be difficult to be precise 'cause it is so low res. Thank you for your help. It is very valuable. Zoran

yea jm thanks for the input cause most of us are flyin blind with this i know i am haha
and also thank you zoran you have done some great designin man --as much as i like the little miner dude if its gonna be a ton of work i guess we could just ax the guy and go with the #6 design its very close to #10 and it also gets rid of the url that some dont care for --- what do you all think about that if the miner cant be included ?

Well since you asked! The miner guy and the shadow will cost extra ( I sold this kind of stuff years ago so have a little knowledge) I still have a problem with the url which is one of the reasons why I voted for #6.

The little miner is cool but if it's too much extra work it's understandable. IMO the url should stay. I don't see being paranoid of motorized spammers as much of an issue as they can easily be deleted from the board (in the event that_that even happens). It will be helpful to show those who see our decals and are interested in tumbling where to go for all the help they need. Just my thoughts on it.

I go for #6. I know someone as well that got burnt by advertising their URL and that was on a tee shirt. Some people live their lives just to cause trouble for others. It's very sad but true.
